Our speaker, Tom Aquilone is Director of Technology at the Lerro Corporation where he leads development, deployment, training and implementation of advanced AV, video and communication technologies. During his more than 19 years at Lockheed Martin, his team originated thousands of webcasts to millions of participants; he co-founded the Multimedia Communication & Collaboration Working Group, aligning the company’s AV and communications technology. Tom also spent 19 years producing and directing continuing medical education and higher education videos.
Tom holds a cum laude baccalaureate degree from the Temple University, School of Communications and Theater, College of Radio, Television and Film, is an active member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), the Media Communications Association International (MCA-I) and the International Communications Industries Association (ICIA), and has served on the Mediasite Community Steering Committee. He has presented at the Lockheed Martin Creative Media Summit, Streaming Media East, and Unleash.
