Live Webinar Tuesday, February 23, 10:00 AM CST Register Zac Woolfitt knows that converting a traditional, face-to-face lecture onto the video screen can be more complicated than it appears. He’s experimented with, and explored the complexities of, adding video to didactic learning environments. Not only has he done the research and completed his Master’s degree […]

Recently, I had the chance to spend a couple days Down Under with an inspiring group of people using video and Mediasite in creative and practical ways. The very first Mediasite Australia/New Zealand Summit brought together more than 50 enthusiastic Mediasite users to share and collaborate around how video is transforming their organizations. Mediasite users don’t just talk about their best practices, successes and goals to their colleagues across the hall. On a daily basis, customers worldwide share, connect and learn from each other via the Mediasite Community, a vibrant online group that’s 2,200 members strong and growing. They may be from opposite sides of the world, on separate coasts or just a city away, but they are united by similar questions, experiences and ambitions for their Mediasite video deployments.

One of our most-watched webinars this year features Neil Morris, the architect of the world’s largest, most-automated, integrated lecture capture system. Scratched out with pen and paper during a creative brainstorm a couple years ago, the University of Leeds successfully deployed more than 250 rooms in the fall of 2014. In the first year, they […]
What do you wish you had known as you grew your lecture-capture program from a single building to an entire department, campus or even system? Five years ago, as the University of Colorado at Boulder was planning a lecture capture pilot, Duncan McBogg took a deep-dive and documented everything they would need to consider. Later, […]
