Mediasiting Your MOOC: How UW La Crosse Transformed Online Learning Modules into a Massive Open Online Course

The seed for a math MOOC at UW La Crosse was planted in 2007 long before the term became mainstream, when Professor Robert Hoar and his colleagues created a large collection of online learning modules and webcasts to help students enhance their math skills. They gathered data, tracked viewing habits and assessed student performance.
