Adeline Justeson and California State University Fullerton

In 2007, Adeline Justeson, a Registered Nurse, was accepted into the distance learning program at California State University Fullerton. She's been an RN for nearly 17 years and was excited to begin the distance learning program that would earn her a bachelor's degree in nursing. But during her second year in the program she had foot surgery, which left her confined to her bed. 

Luckily she had Mediasite. She watched lectures on Mediasite from the comfort of her bedroom and was able to pass the courses. 

"There was no way I would have been able to continue my semester without this program. Luckily, because Mediasite has such great technology I really felt like I had my teacher right here in my room with me," Adeline said. "The Mediasite technology will, in my opinion, help us solve some of the nursing shortage crisis because it will allow more students to have access to professors. More students can take classes online."
