Ashland University Instructional Technology Support Group, a small private school in Ohio, has doubled the amount of online presentations it creates each year. IT's answer to streamlining the process was to create a technology enhanced observation classroom, with full Mediasite RL Recorder integration, permanent mic installation, auto camera tracking of presenters, and SMART board functionality recording into Mediasite.

"The mentality that the university now has is that rich media absolutely rocks," said Stephen Kaufman, educational technology specialist. "The integration of Mediasite has allowed our online courses to become much more powerful in many ways, such as retention of knowledge and feedback on presentations, and it allows for a strong instructor presence online and of course student-centered learning. That is really what it's all about."
