Mediasite is widely used for online learning, sharing student presentations, capturing guest speakers and enhancing face-to-face instruction at California State University San Marcos.

Over the past year, more than 400 events have been recorded and archived for faculty, students and alumni to view. In addition, Mediasite is also being utilized for business support activities, providing on-demand training to all areas of the campus. 

"I teach anatomy and physiology here at Cal State San Marcos. It's a very very difficult class and I have found that Mediasite has just been incredible in increasing student performance and overall student learning. One of the most productive things that it has done is that it has allowed me to show very complex structures like the human skull and brain and integrate this with their pictures, integrate it with real people and put it all together so they get a different kind of learning - different from the lecture hall, different from the lab, but it's integrating it and putting it all together," said Penny Perkins, adjunct faculty in the anatomy and physiology department.
