EDHEC Business School

EDHEC Business School, one of the top five business schools in France, and it began using Mediasite in 2006. The school custom built an e-learning laboratory, equipped with a Mediasite system. The laboratory is unique in France and has allowed the school's rich media e-learning content to increase by 20 percent. 

Before the integration of this e-learning laboratory, the e-learning content consisted of basic teaching supports, such as quizzes. Now, professors can seamlessly produce by themselves rich media content. A touch command screen at the front of the room allows the presenter to completely control the video. They can, for example, start, stop or sync their video with their personal laptop of overhead projector, and the list goes on and on. The camera also follows the presenter if he or she moves around the room. 

"I wanted to create a whole environment to allow teachers to produce by themselves their own e-learning content. That's why we have adopted the Mediasite system," said Bernard Curzi, professor and head of the e-learning department.
