In a world where technological advancements are made at a rapid pace, Florida State University wanted to stay ahead of the curve by providing a cost-effective and innovative way to educate its students and the global community. So they began using Mediasite. 

The university began a Global Educational Outreach initiative to broadcast a range of educational material to schools via the Internet. Working with the Florida Center for Research in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, they developed a series of lectures with Mediasite. They also began creating a science information show and other weekly webcasts. 

"The ease at which you can go in and record and publish presentations continues to make Mediasite the leader," said Steve Acquah of the Department of Chemistry at Florida State University.
