Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) is a provincial non-profit organization that serves 159 member hospitals across the province of Ontario. With its population scattered across a 416-square-mile region, communication with all hospitals across the province is difficult. Enter Mediasite.

OHA uses Mediasite to foster communication and professional development with all hospitals across the province. Before it began using Mediasite, OHA would put together roadshows when critical information needed to be explained. Staff members would travel to a few of the major cities to present the information in a traditional conference format, which meant attendees had to travel to the nearest major center. That cost $150,000 and required staff members to be out of the office for three weeks. With Mediasite, they can present the information in a few days at a fraction of the cost of a traditional conference series. This saved OHA $125,000.

"Members get consistent information when and where they want and as their schedule permits. Our colleagues are always happy to know that this technology is greener than all the travel and energy consumption that traditional conference requires."
