St. George's University

St. George's University is a top center of international education, drawing students and faculty from 140 countries. The nearly 11,000 graduates include physicians, veterinarians, scientists and public health and business professionals across the world. 

With campuses on the Caribbean islands of Grenada and St. Vincent and in the United Kingdom at Northumbria, St. George’s University has standardized all lecture halls with Mediasite RL Recorders. The university also has utilized portable Mediasite ML Recorders for off-site seminars and lectures. Mediasite is being used across all locations as a means of ensuring curriculum continuity across all campuses spread around the world. 

"This is the beginning of a new way for delivering education to our students," said Theodore Hollis, dean of the speech and communications program. 

Another of the many examples of how the school uses Mediasite is in the public speaking classes.

"By using rich media streaming video we're enabling our students to actually see themselves and correct their flaws in public speaking. Almost 15 minutes afterwards they're looking at what they did wrong and what they need to fix," said Anu Goyal, an instructor for the public speaking with web communications course.
