Stony Hill Management - Home Care Information Network

Stony Hill Management-Home Care Information Network is an educational service for home care administrators and staff. It is a web-based education service that brings live and on-demand seminars by the industry's top experts directly to home care clinicians and administrative staff at any location with internet access by using Mediasite video streaming technology. 

This collaborative venture with Stony Hill Management, four home care associations and more than 30 association partners has produced nearly 200 online seminars and has over 30,000 students enrolled for continuing education credits. The network's goal is to lower the cost of providing continuing education credits and increase access to leading industry experts. 

"On a monthly basis we take a look at probably anywhere from 6,000 to 8,000 evaluations. More than 99 percent of the respondents are saying to us that they consider video streamed education to be an excellent vehicle to deliver educational content to their staff. The stat that we found most surprising is from the surveys that we conducted of our users. Nearly two-thirds are saying to us that they prefer the convenience, the cost effectiveness of the video streamed seminars to in-person events. So we've had a very positive experience with Mediasite," said Thomas Williams, President of the Stony Hill Management - Home Care Information Network.
