The University of British Columbia in Vancouver began using Mediasite six months ago and it has already started to transform the way it does business.

The university president implemented a program that aims to unify the university's goals and have faculty work collaboratively. Before Mediasite that was culturally difficult, but now the faculty members from different departments have held strategic planning sessions via Mediasite. 

"Fundamentally what we're seeing is a major shift in the way people do work in this university," said Mark Van Driel, web media coordinator. "I firmly believe that we are seeing change that is now going to become part of a new method for developing skills that we as a group are needing in order to go forward in a unified direction and Mediasite is going to be a powerful part of this."
