The center’s mission is to advance medical and scientific knowledge, but it had no way to share the invaluable expertise of its medical staff.

The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine wanted a multi-purpose capturing technology for its tech-savvy faculty members and students. The university needed to offer a variety of easy-to-use options, encouraging faculty members and students to enhance learning through technology.
NHS Lanarkshire

NHS Lanarkshire delivers training to doctors around the clock with Mediasite. NHS Lanarkshire (NHSL) needed to communicate timely treatment information to doctors in three hospitals without interfering with patient care. Serving more than 553,000 patients, the health organization could not provide training at a convenient time for everyone. Professionals who couldn’t attend the scheduled presentation had trouble accessing the information at a later time.

With Mediasite, Belmont University School of Nursing provides enhanced educational experiences to improve patient healthcare and eliminate medical errors. The Belmont University School of Nursing wanted to provide students more opportunities for interaction with classroom and lab materials without putting more pressure on faculty schedules.

Prior to implementing Mediasite, Hennepin County Medical Center captured visiting lecturers and discussion sessions on VHS tapes which were then transferred to DVDs. Looking to increase access and make information convenient for doctors and nurses with busy schedules, Hennepin County Medical Center turned to rich media web communications.
Riverside Community College

Riverside Community College mitigates the national nursing shortage using Mediasite. Riverside Community College faced a challenge in accommodating the more than 500 students who applied to its nursing program each year. A large percentage of the college’s classes focused on nursing, demand was increasing for nurses in the workforce and classroom size limited student enrollment to 60 people.
