Not every presentation is meant for every viewer, so Mediasite guarantees only authorized users have access by integrating with your Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP directory or both. Leveraging the users and groups you already have, saves significant time and lets you customize viewing roles and permissions as needed.

Mediasite also supports single sign-on (SSO) for content that is accessed through application like your course or content management system. SSO support is included with the Mediasite Building Block for Blackboard Learn and Mediasite Module for Moodle, and SSO integration is available through Mediasite Professional Services for other course, learning or content management systems. For exchanging authentication and authorization between security domains, Mediasite also supports Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0.

Mediasite also protects your video library by requiring authentication before creating, moderating or editing presentations or using other management functions. All presentation assets can be secured, including players, catalogs,schedules, analytics, presenter profiles and more.
