Not every presentation is meant for every viewer, so Mediasite guarantees only authorized users have access. By integrating with your Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP-compatible directory or both, Mediasite leverages the users and groups you already have in these systems. Simply define Mediasite roles and permissions and assign them to users and groups to ensure your content retains the necessary viewing authorization.

Mediasite also supports single sign-on (SSO) for content that is accessed via another application like your course or content management system. SSO support is included with the Mediasite Building Block for Blackboard Learn and Mediasite Module for Moodle, and SSO integration is available through Mediasite Professional Services for other course, learning or content management systems. For exchanging authentication and authorization between security domains, Mediasite also supports Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0.
