Not every presentation is meant for every viewer.

Your recorded content is valuable. That's why the Mediasite EX Server uses role-based security to give you complete control of presentation and catalog viewing permissions. You can choose to make a presentation, or even an entire catalog, publicly-available or use Mediasite's security options to ensure only authorized users see your content.

By integrating with your Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP-compatible directory, Mediasite leverages the users and groups you already have in other systems. Simply define Mediasite roles and permissions and assign them to selected users and groups.

Don't have an existing directory? Use the built-in Mediasite Directory which supports the same role-based security model.

Mediasite also limits access to the webcasting platform by requiring user authentication before creating, moderating or editing presentations or using other management functions. All presentation assets can be secured too, including players, catalogs, presenter profiles, schedules, presentation templates, reports and streaming profiles.

Single sign-on (SSO) integration with leading course/learning/content management systems or other web portals is available through Sonic Foundry Professional Services.
