(Nasdaq: LAUN) announced today that it is leveraging the technology of three leading companies to bring the ultimate streaming music application, LAUNCHcast, to consumers. iBEAM Broadcasting[R], Microsoft[R], and Sonic Foundry[R] all provided key elements in the development and design of the new version of LAUNCHcast, an intelligent music service that gives users the music they want to hear.

Each company provided its distinct technology to enrich the LAUNCHcast experience for LAUNCH.com members. LAUNCH.com has utilized the unique architecture of the iBEAM Network[TM], which currently allows quality delivery of 300,000 simultaneous streams to viewers and listeners globally. Microsoft's Windows Media[TM] is the exclusive media platform for LAUNCHcast and is invaluable for its high quality audio compression technology.
