MADISON, Wis. - September 26, 2011 - Sonic Foundry, Inc.(NASDAQ: SOFO), the recognized market leader for rich media webcasting, lecture capture and knowledge management, today announced Mediasite is the webcasting platform for the UW E-Business Consortium's 13th annual Business Best Practices & Emerging Technologies Conference taking place tomorrow in Madison, Wis.

The annual Business Best Practices & Emerging Technologies Conference is the sole public event hosted by the UWEBC, the UW-Madison-Wisconsin-industry partnership providing peer-to-peer learning in communities of practice to leading Wisconsin companies. All plenary and featured sessions will be webcast and available on-demand for conference attendees and UWEBC members.
