NET-36[TM] and Sonic Foundry Form Partnership To Offer Media Consulting Services to Content Customers

GREENWICH, CT — NET-36[TM], a PanAmSat (NASDAQ: SPOT) company and provider of satellite-based Internet broadcast services, today announced an alliance with Sonic Foundry[R] Corporation, (NASDAQ: SOFO), a leading developer and marketer of digital media and Internet software tools, services, and systems. Under the terms of the agreement, NET-36 can immediately begin offering content providers a variety of tailored Sonic Foundry's Media Services[SM] including encoding, content management, live event webcasting, and customized software and/or hardware applications, as part of NET-36's end-to-end solution-oriented Internet broadcasting services. Sonic Foundry provides NET-36 customers with another source for predelivery content conditioning.
