Sonic Foundry Announces Two New Additions to Its Award-Winning ACID Product Line

Sonic Foundry[R], Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the leading developer and marketer of digital media and Internet software tools, services, and systems, today announced the addition of ACID[TM] Latin and ACID[TM] Techno to its ACID family of genre-specific, loop-based music creation tools.

ACID Latin gives users the ability to create almost any style of Latin music—from Cumbia to Salsa to Slow Ballad. Karl Perrazzo, percussionist, vocalist, and writer on Santana's multi-platinum "Supernatural" album, produced, wrote, arranged, and provided the percussion tracks for the audio content included with the product.

ACID Techno contains 600 extremely diverse, royalty-free loops including heavy beats, percussion, vinyl scratching, synths, and pads to create modern, European-influenced techno style electronic dance music.
