Sonic Foundry, Inc. (Nasdaq: SOFO), a leading developer and marketer of Internet media software tools, services, and systems, announced today its partnership with Streamsearch.com to provide encoding services for the world's first Internet film and music festival.

Sonic Foundry Media Services[TM], a division of Sonic Foundry, Inc., will utilize their proprietary encoding technology to encode sixty films for the upcoming online film and music festival. Film and music enthusiasts can log onto www.streamsearch.com between February 20 and March 20 to view and vote on a combination of full-length feature films, short films, animated features, and music titles from both new and established artists. Sonic Foundry Media Services will encode films including Ed Wood's final film, "I Woke Up Early the Day I Died," starring Billy Zane and Sandra Bernhard, Rob Lowe's "American Untitled," and "Gideon," featuring Charlton Heston.
