Sonic Foundry Releases ACID[TM] PRO 3.0

Sonic Foundry[R] Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the leading developer and marketer of digital media and Internet software tools and services, today announced the highly-anticipated release of ACID[TM] PRO 3.0. ACID is the latest version of Sonic Foundry's award-winning loop-based music creation software. It is perfect for creating royalty-free music, scoring videos, creating music for web sites and Flash[TM] animations, MIDI recording and playback and publishing music to the web.

New features:

• Beatmapper[TM] remixing tool (patent-pending) — This amazing technology allows users to add tempo information to song-length files, allowing them to remix and combine music loops with existing songs.
• Video Scoring — Users can create music beds for videos to score alongside their projects. ACID PRO also allows users to change the tempo and pitch at any time in a project to make syncing up audio and video easier than ever.

• 12 DirectX Audio Plug-Ins — ACID PRO 3.0 includes 12 new DirectX Plug-Ins from Sonic Foundry's XFX[TM] 2 and XFX[TM] 3. This arsenal of effects includes Amplitude Modulation, Chorus, Delay, Distortion, Flange, Noise Gate, Reverb and more.
