Sonic Foundry Releases SIREN Jukebox 2.0

Sonic Foundry[R] Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the leading developer and marketer of digital media and Internet software tools, services, and systems, today released version 2.0 of its SIREN[TM] Jukebox software, a full-scale digital media jukebox for the windows-based PC, capable of organizing and playing back an extensive list of file formats including MP3, WMA, WAV, QuickTime[TM], MPEG, AVI, AIFF, and Ogg Vorbis. Streaming video and audio is supported in both RealMedia and Windows Media[TM] formats.

SIREN Jukebox 2.0 was developed with a built-in web browser, permitting users to enter their favorite URLs, search the Internet for additional content, and download media while never leaving the SIREN Jukebox 2.0 application. As a powerful media library manager, SIREN Jukebox 2.0 allows users to evaluate and assign ratings to their material and sort, group, or filter a large audio and video collection by title, artist, genre, or any other user-specified field.

Additional features include audio and data CD burning, capabilities to design and print CD labels and jewel case covers, and the ability to tune in to Internet radio stations from around the world, including over 240 preset channels. Advanced audio features such as 16-band EQ, reverb, and time compress/expand provide a high degree of audio control upon playback.

"This flexible and powerful software jukebox offers the most robust music and video library management functionality on the market today," said Jeff Conover, vice president of marketing for Sonic Foundry. "The user-friendly interface is incredibly easy to navigate and allows users full control of their digital media experience."
