Sonic Foundry's ACIDplanet.com[SM] Provides Music Creation Technology for Garbage

Sonic Foundry[R] Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the leading developer and marketer of digital media and Internet software tools, services, and systems, today announced that its ACIDplanet.com Web site will act as the platform for a new "Mix Garbage with ACID[TM]" lounge at Garbage.com.

End users can visit Garbage.com, download a variety of loops selected by the band, and use ACID XPress, a scaled down version of Sonic Foundry's award-winning ACID[TM] PRO, to create their own songs. Compositions uploaded to the Garbage lounge will be reviewed by Garbage band members and may illicit one-on-one email feedback from the band. Garbage is developing the B-side to an upcoming album where they will include various compositions they review.
