Sonic Foundry's First Direct-Mail Catalog Receives National Recognition

Sonic Foundry[R], Inc. Competing in the Computer Equipment and Software category against such organizations as IBM and Black Box, the Sonic Foundry product catalog was selected by a nationwide panel of judges from some of the nation's most prestigious direct-marketing companies. Special note was made of its capability to present complex digital audio and multimedia software products in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner. Highlights also included its ability to take the reader through Sonic Foundry's comprehensive line of products, pointing out technical information, user testimonials, and service and support options that drive the user back to the Sonic Foundry Web site for further software details.

Jeff Conover, vice president of marketing for Sonic Foundry, stated, "In a category with such great direct-mail companies, we're very excited that Catalog Age and the DMA chose to honor us with such high praise. It was our goal to provide users with an easy-to-use tool to make informed purchase decisions - we're proud to have achieved that goal with our very first catalog."
