JD Solomon is Editorial Director for Professional Media Group, where he directs all editorial and custom content development for University Business and District Administration, and all program development for the company's events, including the annual UBTech higher-ed conference and the quarterly K-12 superintendents summits.
Prior to his affiliation with Professional Media Group, Solomon worked as an independent marketing and business communications consultant, serving companies in education, healthcare and finance. Earlier in his career he was the editorial and marketing director for an educational publisher in New Jersey, and before that he was a business reporter at daily newspapers in New York and New Jersey.
Solomon is the author of two books: "Overcoming Macular Degeneration: A Guide to Seeing Beyond the Clouds" and "The Tinen Killings: A Novel of Civil War Veterans." He has taught writing and business communication at Rutgers Graduate School of Management and Kean University. He has a masters degree in journalism from Boston University and a masters degree in business administration from Fordham University.
