From Rolling Carts to IP Ports: The Future of AV

From Rolling Carts to IP Ports: The Future of AV

On Demand

On the university campus and in the enterprise sky-rise, the AV decision-making process has become more IT-like. There are new decision-making roles and evolving user needs.

Mirroring the consumer electronics space, just about every piece of proAV gear is now networkable, with either IP-addressability, streaming capability or a web management feature.

As professional AV continues its great march toward the end-user, AV Technology Magazine Editorial Director Margot Douaihy explores five trends she sees as a reporter. In this on-demand webinar, which she originally presented at Unleash 2017, the Mediasite User Conference, she’ll discuss:

  • Migrating from siloed systems to an IP-centric, software-driven ecosystem
  • Livestreaming
  • Networked AV
  • Finding budget for AV in an IT world
  • Bridging the knowledge gap between AV and IT
