  Each year brings even more new faces to UNLEASH. If this is your first Mediasite User Conference, here's your chance to hit the ground running and find a MUG Mentor. Mingle with other first-time attendees and meet the Mediasite User Group Steering Committee before you head downstairs to join the Welcome Reception.

  Over the years, the Hilton Lobby Bar has become a mainstay of the UNLEASH experience. So this year we decided it was a fitting backdrop to launch the conference networking. It's the perfect way to cap your travel or workshop day and mingle with other conference attendees and Sonic Foundry staff in an informal setting that you are bound to visit again during your time in Madison.

  Dine with other Mediasite experts who share similar webcasting interests — content management, increasing user adoption, lecture capture, live webcasting, production values, proving ROI or scaling Mediasite enterprise-wide. A great opportunity to swap successes, compare lessons learned and build your network of Mediasite peers.

  This year we're injecting the full conference program with the energy and anticipation that only the Rich Media Impact Awards can generate. Interspersed between sessions, panels and keynotes, we'll be counting down the achievements and outcomes of our elite group of finalists.

  Sonic Foundry's 20th Birthday Bash

  We kicked off our anniversary year at UNLEASH 2010 with a proclamation and presentation by our home state governor. Now a year's worth of celebration is set to culminate at UNLEASH 2011 during our rooftop Caribbean-style birthday bash, complete with reggae, steel drums, tropical treats and refreshing breeze off the water.

  What about the prizes you ask? It's only fitting we up the ante in our anniversary year. You'll collect Mediasite Mojo as you work your way through UNLEASH On-site and Online. And by Tuesday night, you'll be ready to cash in on tech toys to work tools, even an island vacation for two.

  If we've learned anything after a half decade of hosting, it's that many Mediasite users find the momentum of UNLEASH propels them long past its official close. Grab a quick snack and a cold drink on your way out of town, or savor the networking before heading out to explore Madison with new friends and old.

  Extend your networking time by joining an informal Dine Out Madison. We've selected a variety of amazing restaurants for you to experience exceptional local cuisine. Centered in the heart of downtown Madison, all restaurants are within walking distance of the Monona Terrace. Restaurant menus and sign-up sheets for Dine Out Madison will be available at the conference.
