Concurrent Track Sessions

For UNLEASH 2012, we're changing things up slightly to deliver the most powerful program of practical advice, how-to's and best practices. UNLEASH attendees have told us the sessions they value most are those which provide concrete examples of how to take their Mediasite implementation - whether basic or advanced, large or small - to the next level. They want to learn from others that have been there. They want the edge that your expertise and lessons learned can provide.

This year, we're looking for speakers that can share specific how-to's behind their successful webcasts, deployments, integrations or business strategies. This doesn't mean we're only looking for highly technical sessions. To suit the variety of attendee backgrounds and skills, we are very interested in a healthy mix of content at all technical levels. Whatever the topic, our ultimate goal is to ensure every attendee leaves UNLEASH with a collection of proven processes, step-by-steps and real-life examples that can be applied in their own organizations.

Specific sessions we would like to feature at UNLEASH 2012 include the following. (Based on the interest attendees have expressed in these topics, these sessions will be given preference in our selection process.)

  • Audio 101: Tips and Tools for the Best-Sounding Webcasts
  • Video and Lighting 101: Tips and Tools for the Best-Looking Webcasts

Pecha Kucha Sessions

This new presentation format, which debuted at UNLEASH 2011, is back by popular demand!

Pecha Kucha, the onomatopoeic Japanese word for the sound of conversation, translates as "chit chat". This unique and entertaining presentation format lets speakers convey their most important ideas in succinct 7-minute bursts. Each presenter shares 20 self-running, image-based slides for 20 seconds each (a total presentation length of 6 minutes 40 seconds). Learn more or check out these Pecha Kucha sessions from last year for inspiration.

Pecha Kucha: Your Best Foot Forward   |   Pecha Kucha: You Can Do THAT with Mediasite?

The best part of being an UNLEASH speaker (aside from incredible event fame and recognition)? One complimentary conference registration is provided for each accepted track session ($795 value), or a $300 discount is provided for each Pecha Kucha participant. Pick the format that best suits your presentation style and Mediasite experience and feel free to submit more than one speaking proposal.
