According to the World Health Organization, Brazil, with the largest population among countries in the southern hemisphere, has experienced more swine flu fatalities than any other country with 22% of deaths worldwide. Last winter many organizations originally planning to meet in Brazil began looking for alternatives to face to face events.
Join Helder Conde, Technical Director at Atitude Digital Media-Brazil, to hear the story of two organizations who completely avoided exposing people to H1N1 by building successful online conferences via Mediasite. The first: one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies who had planned a training meeting on products and corporate strategy with its 800-member Brazilian sales team. The second: a medical society which created its first entirely virtual conference with 1000+ physicians and professors from nine different countries interacting with live presenters via webcast, videoconference and Skype.

Helder Conde is technical director at Atitude Digital Media, a leading webcasting service provider based 100% on Mediasite in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has produced, directed and supervised more than 1300 live webcasts and is responsible for managing the complete technical infrastructure, studios and webcasting team at Atitude. Before webcasting, he spent almost 15 years in video, multimedia development, computer graphics and live in-person events using wireless keypad voting systems.
