Jim Goodlander, Associate Director of Technology, will walk you through a typical day of academic, training and event webcasting at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, one US News & World Report’s top 25 public undergraduate business schools. A leader in streaming classroom video since early 2000, the College webcasting program has grown from Managerial MBA programs with online components to conferences, guest speakers and special events that now attract a global audience.

The presentation will include:

  • An overview of key technology decisions to explore when first starting - or expanding - your campus webcasting program.
  • Successful strategies for moving deployment beyond classroom lectures, to include guest speakers, live panel forums, campus wide events, online noncredit courses and staff training.
  • The importance of word of mouth, reporting and “mediasiting by example” to fuel adoption and maximize use of the webcasting medium.
