Mona Aldana-Ramirez has been in education for 18 years. She has served San Antonio College for 10 years and is currently the Director of Retention Support Services. She previously served as the Coordinator of Educator Preparation. Trained as a Science Teacher, she has taught middle and high school and provided professional development to educators throughout the United States as part of an Aerospace Education outreach division for a government agency. She promotes education initiatives in San Antonio, TX and encourages students to challenge themselves by becoming S.T.E.M. majors.
