Scott is a leading independent technology consultant. For the past 17 years he has been president and CEO of Waveguide Consulting, a leading technology consulting firm providing AV, IT and acoustical consulting services to leading universities, corporations and government entities. With 24 years of experience, he has worked on hundreds of projects at more than 50 colleges and universities including MIT, Notre Dame and Emory University, as well as dozens of major projects for global enterprise headquarters including Shell, Coca-Cola, UPS and Sprint. Scott has been an InfoComm volunteer since 1999 serving as ICAT chair, as an officer on the InfoComm board and as president in 2004. After completing his board tenure, Scott continued his volunteer service as chair of InfoComm’s ANSI Standards steering committee. More recently, Scott’s leadership efforts center on the AV industry’s response to the green building movement. He was the driving force behind the creation of the STEP rating system for defining sustainable technology best practices for the ICT industry. He currently serves on the STEP Foundation Board, the InfoComm Smart Building Imperative Task Force and the InfoComm Leadership Development Committee.
