Jobs in science, technology, engineering and math are primarily dominated by men, but a new dual-enrollment program at the University of Cincinnati is aiming to make more women interested in those fields by bringing college engineering courses to high school students.

Check out this article on UC’s website for more information about the program: UC Brings College into Area High Schools

Students complete their first level of college engineering courses via Mediasite webcasts before they ever step foot on campus.

Last month we introduced you to Gretchen Kellerstrass, 18, who took two of these courses through UC while at Kings High School in Kings Mills, Ohio. Read more about her in our blog post “High School Student Gretchen Kellerstrass Discovers Love of Engineering Thanks to Online Learning Program.”
